Mike Stockalper

Mike Stockalper (born December 16,  1958 in Chula Vista ) is a former American - Swiss basketball player .

career

Stockalper played in the United States at Marian High School in Chula Vista and from 1977 to 1981 for the college team of the University of San Diego . At the end of his four years he was in second place in the all-time best list of the university team with 374 assists. In his last season in San Diego (1980/81), the 1.83-meter-tall formation player achieved averages of 10.6 points and 3.9 assists per match.

Stockalper, who has US citizenship as well as Swiss citizenship, then played in the National League A in Vevey, Pully and Bellinzona. With Pully he also took part in the European Champions Cup. In Pully his cousin Dan Stockalper was his teammate for a while.
