Michail Sosnin ( Russian Михаил Соснин ; born September 22, 1990 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Sosnin first competed in races in the Eastern Europe Cup in 2008 ; He achieved his first top 20 result in this series in November 2012 with rank 16 over 15 km classic in Vershina Tjoi . Sosnin made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in February 2013 in Sochi , where he finished 46th in the skiathlon . In December 2014 he placed sixth in the 15 km freestyle in Krasnogorsk for the first time among the top ten in the Eastern Europe Cup. In his second World Cup appearance in January 2015 in Rybinsk , Sosnin finished 25th in the 15 km freestyle and scored his first World Cup points.
