Miki pattern
Miki Muster (born Nikolaj Muster on November 22, 1925 in Murska Sobota , Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes ; died on May 7, 2018 in Ljubljana ) was a Slovenian sculptor , draftsman and film director . His best-known cartoon characters are Zvitorepec, Trdonja and Lakotnik.
Life
Miki Muster was born in Murska Sobota in 1925 as the second child to a Hungarian mother and a Slovenian doctor. He lived in Ljubljana from the age of eight. His wish to work at Disney after his school days in the USA was not fulfilled. He began studying sculpture in Ljubljana and then worked as a draftsman for the Slovenski poročevalec ; he also worked as a director of cartoons and advertising films. In the 1970s, he worked in Manfred Schmidt's animation studio in West Germany on Mordillo short films and the Nick Knatterton television series.
