Bjørge competed in his first FIS races as a 15-year-old in November 2001 . His first international successes came at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2003 in Bled . Bjørge won gold in slalom and silver in giant slalom and super-G. A month later he competed in his first European Cup races . From the 2004/05 season , the Norwegian started regularly in this racing series, in which he only took part in slalom and giant slalom competitions. On December 5th, 2004 he won the first points with a good sixth place in the giant slalom in Valloire . However, this result remained his best ever in the European Cup. In the same season he was in the top 20 twice, but never in the top 30 in the rest of his career.
After he could only classify himself in midfield at the Junior World Championships in 2004 and 2005, Bjørge surprisingly won the gold medal in slalom at the 2006 Junior World Championships in Québec . As a result, he came to his only use in the World Cup at the season finale in Åre , but where he was eliminated after a goal error in the first run. After winning the Junior World Championships, he was considered a great young talent in the Norwegian Ski Association. He was unable to confirm this performance afterwards and in April 2007 he contested his last races.
