Miko (artist)
Miko (* in Bochum as Petra Mikolajczak ) is a German singer, actress, composer and television presenter.
Life
The artist, trained as a singer and actress, was a member of the Neon Babies in the early 1980s . She then tried her hand as a solo artist on the European and American music markets with moderate success. Directed by Frank Ripploh , she played the title role in the 1986 feature film Miko - From the gutter to the stars , for which she also wrote the screenplay.
As a presenter, Miko received under her real name the special live prize at the Adolf Grimme Prize 1985 for the 1984 broadcast Klons produced by Radio Bremen .
Miko has been working as a singer and composer to the present day, she has appeared at Live from Alabama and in 3 to 9 , among others .
