Siegfried Zademack (born December 24, 1952 in Bremen ) is a German painter.

life and work

Zademack was born in Bremen in 1952, where he still lives and works today. After training as an advertising designer, commercial graphic artist and screen printer , he worked full-time as a commercial graphic designer until 1980. Since attending an academy did not satisfy him, he deepened himself in the techniques and image compositions of the old masters and acquired specialist knowledge of colors, pigments , transitions, solvents, etc.

In 1975 he had his first exhibition participation in the Bremen town hall. He has been working as a freelance artist since 1980 and is fully dedicated to painting. In 1981 the first major exhibition with more than 50 paintings took place.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the artist group Neue Meister and since 2006 a member of the international artist group Libellule . His work is characterized by borrowings from the works and painting style of important painters of European art history, especially he is based on the masters of the Italian early and high renaissance up to those of mannerism . He himself calls his style “fantastic-surreal”.
