Milan Berka

Milan Berka (born January 23, 1978 in Litoměřice ) is a Czech handball player .

The 1.83 meter tall Berka plays on the right back space / center back space .

He was active with the clubs HK Město Lovosice , SKP Frýdek-Místek and Dukla Prague before he came to the Stralsund AGM in November 2004 . He extended his contract with the Stralsunders in February 2009 to 2011; the club wanted to rebuild the team around Berka. After the bankruptcy of the Spielbetriebs-GmbH of the Stralsund HV he ended his obligation there. In the meantime, Milan Berka trained together with the squad of HC Empor Rostock ; from February 2010 he was under contract with TUSEM Essen . From the 2010/2011 season, Milan Berka will play again in the Czech Republic, at HK ASA Město Lovosice in Lovosice .

Berka played with the Stralsund HV in the 1st handball Bundesliga .

He played in the squad of the Czech national handball team at the European handball championship in Gothenburg in 2002 and the European handball championship in Slovenia in 2004 .
