Milan Luhový (born January 1, 1963 in Ružomberok ) is a former Slovak football player .

Luhový began his career in 1981 with Slovan Bratislava . In 1984 the striker moved to Dukla Prague . 1987/88 and 1988/89 he was Czechoslovak top scorer with 24 and 25 goals . In 1990 he moved to the Spanish club Sporting Gijón . In the first half of 1993 he played AS Saint-Étienne , then a season at PAOK Thessaloniki . After a two-year engagement with VV St. Truiden , Luhový ended his career in 1996.

In the Czechoslovak national football team Luhový made his debut on October 6, 1982 in the game against Sweden . He was in the squad for the 1990 World Cup . His last mission was on September 25, 1991 in Oslo against Norway . Luhový completed a total of 31 international matches in which he scored seven goals.

Today he works as a football expert and commentator for the idnes.cz portal of the Czech daily Mladá fronta Dnes . He is considered an unpopular thinker in football circles.
