Milicz (Drezdenko)

Milicz ( German  Militzwinkel ) is a residential area in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to Gmina Drezdenko (city and rural community Driesen) in the powiat Strzelecko-Drezdenecki (Friedeberg-Driesener Kreis) .

The living space is in Netzebruch in Neumark , about 80 km east of Küstrin and about 100 km southeast of Stettin .

Militzwinkel formed a rural community in the Friedeberg Nm district until 1939 . and with this district belonged to the Prussian province of Brandenburg , from 1938 to the province of Pomerania . In 1925 there were 47 inhabitants in 10 households in Militzwinkel. Besides Militzwinkel, there were no named places to live in the community. On April 1, 1939, Militzwinkel was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Trebitsch .

In 1945 Militzwinkel, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse Line , came to Poland. Militzwinkel received the Polish place name "Milicz".
