Milja Mirjam Thureson (born May 23, 1994 in Kaarina ) is a Finnish sprinter .

Athletic career

In 2013 Milja Thureson took part in a major international event, the Junior European Championships in Rieti , for the first time. She finished fifth over 100 meters. In 2014 she was part of the Finnish relay for the European Championships in Zurich , where the Finns were eliminated in the preliminary round. At the U23 European Championships in 2015 in Tallinn , Estonia , she finished seventh and set a new personal best in the semi-finals. In addition, she was eliminated with the Finnish team in the preliminary round of the 4 x 100 meter competition.

In 2017 she became Finnish indoor champion over 60 meters and in 2018 national champion in 200 meters outdoors.
