Billions is a rock band from Berlin that was founded in 2013. After an EP in 2014, their debut album was released in 2016.

history

The band was formed in 2013 from a meeting of the singer Ben Hartmann with the pianist Johannes Aue at a university. In 2014 their EP Kokain und Raspberry Ice was released as a vinyl version on Vertigo Berlin and they appeared on television for the first time on the show Inas Nacht . After winning a band contest, her song Freiheit ist ne Hure became the soundtrack of the 2015 Oskar Roehler film Tod den Hippies !! Long live punk chosen and the EP was also released on CD.

In 2016, Billion Ton Steine ​​Schherd accompanied the opening act on their tour. This was followed by appearances by the band at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals . In August, Vertigo released their first full album entitled Betrüger . In 2016, the Pro7 program Circus HalliGalli saw two appearances worth billions of euros as well as participation in one contribution.
