So far he has been trained mainly by Dim Chusagorow and Valentin Raitschew. As a junior he was multiple Bulgarian champion and weighs about 122 kg as an adult with a height of 1.91 meters. The Bulgarian Wrestling Federation has high hopes for him, which seem to be confirmed in 2013 by very good placements in international tournaments. So he occupied z. B. in July 2013 at the "Wladyslaw-Pytlasinski" Memorial in Warsaw, a very well-filled tournament, in heavyweight behind the Olympic third-placed Johan Eurén from Sweden, but ahead of Iossif Tschugaschwili , Belarus and Mihály Deák Bárdos from Hungary, 2nd place.
