Church life

Apart from prayer in Arabic , German and Turkish are predominantly spoken. Prayers are held daily, with Friday prayer being particularly important .

The interreligious dialogue is cultivated in a variety of ways through various events, including days of the open mosque as well as contacts with neighbors, school visits and multi-cultural festivals.

According to Imam Ercan Üstün, a Muslim burial place was set up in Lauda. In a discussion in January 2017 between the coordination team of emergency chaplains from the Main-Tauber district and Muslim chaplains, Üstun added: “This would also be desirable in other cities in the district”. The need is given, since not all deceased Muslims are transferred to their home countries.
