Mimara Museum
The Mimara Museum (Croat. Muzej Mimara ) is a museum in the Croatian capital Zagreb . It is located on Roosevelt Square and was founded by the private collection of Wiltrud and Ante Topić Mimara .
history
The museum building was built as a grammar school according to plans by the Leipzig architects Robert Ludwig and Alfred Hülßner in the 1890s and redesigned as a museum by the Zagreb architect Kuno Waidmann in the 1980s. The museum opened in 1987.
collection
His collection includes a total of 3,700 exhibits from the Stone Age to the present day, 1,500 of which are on display each time. The most valuable exhibits include works by

- 120 paintings by the French masters Georges de la Tour , Boucher , Chardin , Delacroix , Corot , Manet , Renoir , Degas .
