Carolinen is the group's main brand for mineral water products. The company was founded in 1925 as a beer publisher by Maria and Richard Wüllner, and the Carolinen Brunnen was opened in 1973. In 1958 the company got the license to fill Sinalco .
In 1991 the company took over the Gaensefurther Schlossbrunnen from the city of Hecklingen and the Gänsefurth district . In 2007 it was bought by Güstrower Schlossquell GmbH in Güstrow in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania natural region .
