Mingkamon Koomphon (born January 4, 1998 ) is a Thai hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Mingkamon Koomphon gained her first international experience at the 2013 Asian Youth Games in Nanjing , where she won the gold medal with 59.58 m. Then she won at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw with 51.82 m, the bronze medal behind her compatriot Panwat Gimsrang and Renee Kelly Lee Casier from Malaysia. In 2015 she won the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 56.57 m. In 2016 she won the bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City with 56.44 m and in 2017 she won the Southeast Asian Games inKuala Lumpur took the silver medal behind Malaysian Grace Wong Xiu Mei with 56.15 m . In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where she finished sixth with 61.18 m. In 2019 she won the gold medal again at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 55.99 m.

In 2013 and 2014 Koomphon became the Thai hammer throw champion.
