Mini United
The mini-United ( united Mini ) is an international festival for mini-cars .
history
During the 1960s, a British classic Mini emerged in Great Britain , an active and diverse fan base. Even then, the interest of the fan community was in the exchange of knowledge and experience relating to the technology of the Mini. This wave also spread to Germany, there are around 6,000 members in more than 100 classic mini communities and over 50 MINI clubs. The website MINISPACE.com has developed into an interactive meeting point .
After numerous market-specific activities in a large number of countries, the international MINI United festival has been held since 2005 . The first Mini United Festival was held in Misano at the world finals with racing driver Alessandro Zanardi . Around 6000 visitors came from more than 40 nations. In 2009 the British city of Silverstone celebrated 50 years of Mini with a festival. The 2012 festival in Le Castellet was all about music. The first Mini United Festival in Asia was held in the city of Xiamen in 2012 with a spectacular open-air festival for fans of the British small car brand; about 700 visitors came.
