The Ministry of European Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Avrupa Birliği Bakanlığı ) was a ministry of the Government of Turkey . As the European Ministry , it was responsible for European policy ( European Union ) in Turkey from June 29, 2011 to July 9, 2018 . With the start of the new legislature on July 9, 2018, the former ministry was incorporated into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs . The Turkish Ministry of Europe was responsible for coordinating the accession negotiations between Turkey and the European Union and was supposed to develop relations between Turkey and the European Union. The minister responsible was also the chief negotiator during the accession process.

The seat was in Mustafa Kemal district, 2082 Street No. 4 06510 in Bilkent in Ankara . The annual budget was ₺ 291,238,000 (as of 2015).
