Minuskel 66 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), ε 519 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 298 sheets of paper (21.4 × 14.6 cm). Using paleography , the manuscript was dated to the 14th century. The handwriting is complete.
description
The code contains the text of the four gospels . It was written in one column with 21 lines each. It contains Epistula ad Carpianum , lists of the κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, Eusebian Canon , Synaxarium, Menologion , Images, Liturgical Reading, and αναγνωσεις.
The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type . Aland placed it in Category V a.
The handwriting belongs to the text family K r .
history
The manuscript once belonged to Thomas Gale (1636–1702). The code was examined by John Mill .
The Code is currently located at Trinity College (O. VIII. 3) in Cambridge .
