Miodrag Đukić

Miodrag Đukić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Миодраг Ђукић ; * 1938 in Prokuplje ; † June 30, 2010 ) was a Serbian writer , dramaturge and politician .

biography

After attending school, he studied dramaturgy at the Academy for Theater, Film, Radio and Television ( Akademija za Pozorište, Film, Radio i Televiziju ) in Belgrade and graduated with a diploma . He later served as President of the Belgrade Cultural and Educational Science Community and director of Prosveta Publishing House . For many years he was the director of the Serbian Museum of Theater Arts ( Muzeja Pozorišne Umetnosti Srbije ).

Đukić was also the author of numerous plays and made his debut as a writer in 1968 with the drama Strip-tiz kod Džakera in the Academic Theater Branko Krsmanović . For his play Potraživanje u motelu (Demands in the Motel), which premiered in the National Theater Competition in 1971 , he received the first prize in the competition. His most famous drama, Aleksandar (Alexander), premiered in the Yugoslav Dramatic Theater, while Kiseonik (Oxygen) was performed for the first time at the theaters in Niš and Zrenjanin . With Krtičnjak (molehills) another drama in the Belgrade National Theater premiered. In addition to radio play versions for the radio , his texts have also appeared in the theater magazine Teatron and in the Edition Savremena srpska drama (contemporary Serbian dramas).

In the cabinet of Radoman Božović (December 23, 1991 to February 10, 1993) he was Minister of Culture of Serbia.
