The Mirae Unha Tower (미래 과학자 거리 레지던스 은하 타워) or Galaxy Tower is a skyscraper in the capital of North Korea , Pyongyang . With a height of 210 meters (spread over 53 floors ) it is currently the fourth tallest building in the country and the city. The skyscraper can be found in the P'yŏngch'ŏn-guyŏk district .

history

It was built parallel to Mirae Street between 2014 and 2015 in less than a year. It was opened on November 15, 2015 and was intended to provide living space for scientists , teachers and researchers from the Kim Ch'aek Technical University . However, according to the news portal NK News , it was largely uninhabited as of May 2017 (?).
