Miranda Schmidt-Robben (born December 13, 1986 in Emmen , nee Miranda Robben ) is a Dutch handball player .

Schmidt-Robben played for the Dutch first division club E&O Emmen until 2005. She then moved to league rivals V&L Geleen. Two years later she signed a contract with the German second division club Borussia Dortmund . Schmidt-Robben scored over 100 goals in their first season and was promoted to the Bundesliga with BVB . After another season at BVB, in which Robben scored 74 goals in the Bundesliga, she joined the second division club HSG Bad Wildungen . In 2011 she was promoted to the Bundesliga with the HSG. Two years later she returned to the 2nd Bundesliga with HSG Bad Wildungen. From February 2014, she was on pause due to pregnancy. After Schmidt-Robben gave birth to a son in September 2014, she returned to the HSG Bad Wildungen squad in December 2014. After the 2017/18 season, she ended her career. In January 2020 she will make her comeback for the HSG Bad Wildungen.

Miranda Schmidt-Robben made 92 appearances for the Netherlands , in which she scored 129 goals. With the Netherlands she took part in the 2005 World Cup in Russia , where they finished fifth.

Her sister Jolanda was also a member of the Dutch national handball team.
