Jolanda Bombis-Robben (born February 29, 1984 in Emmen ; born Jolanda Robben ) is a former Dutch handball player .

Career

Bombis-Robben played for the Dutch first division club E&O Emmen until 2004. She then moved to Germany to join the Bundesliga promoted SG PSV Rostock . The left wing player played a total of 27 Bundesliga games for Rostock, in which she scored 47 goals. When Rostock was relegated in 2006, Bombis-Robben moved to the Bundesliga club HSG Blomberg-Lippe , for whom they played one season. In 2007, Bombis-Robben moved to the second division SVG Celle , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga two years later. Only one year after the promotion, however, Celle had to start again in the second class. In 2011 she managed to return to the Bundesliga with Celle, but Celle only belonged to this division for one year. In 2013 she rose again to the first Bundesliga. On May 14, 2016, she played her last game for the SVG Celle and (for the time being) ended her career. In March 2017 she took over the interim coaching position of the SVG Celle until the end of the 2016/17 season.

Jolanda Bombis-Robben made 19 international appearances for the Netherlands , in which she scored 11 goals. So far she has not participated in any major tournament with the Netherlands.

Jolanda Bombis-Robben is married to the German ice hockey player Björn Bombis . Her sister Miranda was also a member of the Dutch national handball team.
