Turquoise Jones is a housewife and single mother. She works at Wayman's BBQ & Lounge but was once a beauty queen. She was once crowned Miss Juneteenth, a title commemorating the Juneteenth day that slaves were freed in Texas. Now she tries to lead her daughter Kai to the title as well, even if she doesn't actually want to be Miss Juneteenth.
