Kendrick Sampson

Kendrick Smith Sampson (* Houston , Texas ) is an American actor .

Life

Sampson was born in Houston , Texas , to Daphne Ann Smith and Hoyle Sampson, Sr. There he grew up with his older brother Quinten and half-brother Hoyle, Jr. Already during his high school days he acted on the theater stage and in school performances. He moved to Los Angeles , California for his career .

Sampson made his acting debut in 2006 in the feature film Resurrection: The JR Richard Story . This was followed by guest roles in Greek (2008), CSI: The perpetrators on the trail (2010) and Zeit der Sehnsucht (2011). For The CW , he starred in five episodes in 2013 as Jesse for Vampire Diaries . In the 2014 released miniseries Gracepoint , an adaptation of the British crime series Broadchurch , he played the lead role of Dean Iverson . Since September 2015, Sampson has played the supporting role of Caleb Hapstall in the ABC crime series How to Get Away with Murder .
