Mit Lutz und Liebe (Subtitle: Old Schlagerhüte, freshly polished and served new by Lutz Jahoda ) was a music show on GDR television .

concept

In his revue- style show, the entertainer Lutz Jahoda presented a mixture of old hits and folk songs, the melodies of which he set to music with his own texts. GDR pop stars such as Aurora Lacasa and Monika Herz appeared as guests . Between the pieces of music Jahoda played in various skits and presentations. He was supported by a talking parrot named Amadeus. A coherent story was told in this way in each episode of the show. The screenshots of Wolfgang snail were produced as technically demanding, the program was one of the most popular entertainment formats in the country in the 1970s.

Jahoda developed the idea for Mit Lutz und Liebe together with Heinz Quermann . The program was produced in the Kulturpalast television studio in Karl-Marx-Stadt .

The parrot, who acted as Jahoda's co-moderator in the role of Amadeus , was a female, was called Lore and came from the Leipzig Zoo . For the production of the program, the animal was brought to the television studios in Karl-Marx-Stadt every time. The voice of the parrot spoke Edgar Pfeil.
