With open cards (original title: Cards on the Table ) is a long episode from the tenth season of the British television series Agatha Christie's Poirot from 2005 by Sarah Harding . It is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie from 1936.

Hercule Poirot , crime writer Ariadne Oliver, Colonel Hughes of British Secret Service and Superintendent Wheeler of Scotland Yard are invited to dinner with the mysterious Mr. Shaitana. At the same time four other guests are invited. During the bridge game that follows , the host is murdered.
Together with the detectives present, Poirot and Mrs. Oliver get to the bottom of the guests' past - because, according to Mr. Shaitana, each of them has a murder on their conscience. However, Poirot and Mrs. Oliver also have to reconstruct the bridge game they have started to find out who the killer is.
