Honeysuckle Hero Susan Weeks (born August 1, 1979 in Cardiff , Wales ) is a British actress .
life and career
Honeysuckle Weeks was born in August 1979 in the Welsh capital Cardiff to Robin and Susan Weeks. She owes her unusual first name Honeysuckle (in English: honeysuckle ) to the fact that at the time of her birth these honeysuckle plants were blooming and giving off their scent. She has two younger siblings named Perdita and Rollo Weeks who are also actors. Growing up Honeysuckle Weeks in the southern English county of West Sussex nearby places Chichester and Petworth . She attended Roedean School and, after graduation, Pembroke College at Oxford University , where she studied English. She spent a year in Italy to study art history in Florence .
Honeysuckle Weeks first encountered acting as a child as a member of the Chichester Festival Theater's Youth Theater . Her parents were benevolent of her acting ambitions and even encouraged them to do so. Back in 1993, the then 14-year-old was in front of the camera in several episodes of the TV series Goggle Eyes . In 1997, she starred in the television series The Rag Nymph , based on a literary model by the writer Catherine Cookson , with her younger sister Perdita, who played Honeysuckle's role as a young girl. In German-speaking countries she became known for her role as an episode of Fleur Bridges in the British crime series Inspector Barnaby broadcast on ZDF . She had another supporting role in 2015 in the British crime series "Lewis". In addition to her film acting, she also works as a theater actress. She was Eliza Doolittle in the play Pygmalion at the Chichester Festival Theater .
Honeysuckle Weeks has been married to hypnotherapist Lorne Stormonth-Darling since July 2007 . In 2005 the two married in a Buddhist ceremony while on vacation in the Himalayas . The couple have their residence in London .
