Perdita Weeks

Perdita Rose Annunziata Weeks (born December 25, 1985 in Cardiff , Wales ) is a British actress .

life and career

Perdita Weeks was born in 1985 in the Welsh capital Cardiff, the second of three children to her parents Robin and Susan Weeks. Her older sister Honeysuckle and younger brother Rollo Weeks are also actors. After attending school, she studied art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London .

She made her film debut in 1993 alongside her six-year-old sister in the series Goggle Eyes . She played the teenage Millie in Rag Nymph , while her sister Honeysuckle Millie acted in her more mature years. She became known to German-speaking audiences through episode roles in Inspector Barnaby and Rosamunde Pilcher films. In the history series Die Tudors , which was also successful in German-speaking countries , she embodied Mary Boleyn, sister-in-law of King Henry VIII, portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers .

In 2018, Weeks took on the role of British property manager Higgins in Magnum PI (the remake of the television series Magnum ).
