Lyndsey Marshal

Lyndsey Marshal (born June 16, 1978 in Manchester , England ) is a British actress .

Life

Lyndsey Marshal was born in Manchester on June 16, 1978. She grew up in Old Trafford . She completed her acting training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, which she successfully completed in 2000. Her father died of heart failure while studying to be an actor. Lyndsey Marshal was 19 years old at the time. After completing her acting training, Lyndsey Marshal has appeared on theater stages across the UK. She had her first television appearance in 2000 as Natalie Pearce in the series Peak Practice. Several television films and series followed. In 2010 she starred as Jackie alongside Matt Damon in the film Hereafter .

Lyndsey Marshal has received multiple awards for her performances. In 2001 Lyndsey Marshal received the Jack Tinker Award for Best Newcomer for her performances in Boston Marriage and Redundant. In 2002 she was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the London play "Boston Marriage". She has also received nominations for the Ian Charleson Award and the Evening Standard Theater Award .
