Promotion opportunities

The normal route to the remote and rarely used Mittlere Bretterkopf leads from the Seekamptörl over the neighboring Hohe Bretterkopf to the summit. The Seekamptörl can be reached, for example, from the Elberfelder Hütte to the north via the high path leading to the Langtalseen, leaving the marked path at the Vorderen Langtalsee and from here on the unmarked ascent via the Seekampkees to the Seekamptörl. After the easy ascent of the Hohe Bretterkopf, the short descent into a ridge valley and then the ascent over slabs torn by earthy bands. In the course of this ridge crossing, another crossing to the Vorderen Bretterkopf is an option. The ridge can also be crossed in the reverse order from the Bretterscharte, with the ascent from the Gradental.
