Wednesday 04:45 (original title in Greek Τετάρτη 04:45 , Tetarti 04:45 ) is a Greek feature film from 2015 . The German premiere took place on February 4, 2016.

The Greek Stelios made his dream come true and opened a jazz club in Athens. Over a longer period of time, he and his business partner Vassos borrowed a total of 148,237 euros in order to be able to further develop and expand the nightclub. Due to the financial crisis in 2007 , the Greek economy collapsed almost completely in 2010, so that the club no longer generates enough profit to only be able to repay the loans in part. The loan shark, who is only called "The Romanian", threatens Stelios with the revenge of the Romanian mafia if the latter does not repay the sum. He gives Stelios 32 hours until 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday so he can raise the money he needs. Stelios has to get the money in a race against time and faces a whirlpool of fraud, drugs and violence, the full extent of which is only now becoming clear to him.
