Moçarria is a town and municipality in Portugal .

history

The first documented mention of Moçarrias comes from 1248.

During the Napoleonic invasions in the early 19th century, the parish was plundered several times, in particular the town of Secorio and its church.

Moçarria was part of the Abitureiras municipality until it became a separate municipality in 1922.
