The Modev Peak (English; Bulgarian Модев връх Modew wrach ) is a 670 m high and mostly icy mountain on Two Hummock Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 4.04 km south of Wauters Point , 2.38 km southwest of Butrointsi Point , 5.35 km north-northwest of Veyka Point and 1.63 km northeast of Buache Peak . Its north-western slopes, some of which are not icy, are striking. The Kotev Cove is north of him.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after Stanimir Modew, who from 2002 worked in several campaigns as a mechanic on the St. Kliment-Ohridski station on Livingston Island .
