The Moditse is a peak in the Himalayas in Nepal .

The Moditse is located on the main ridge of the Annapurna massif and has a height of 7126  m . It is located in the southwest of the Annapurna Himal. The central summit ( 7094  m ) and the main summit ( 7219 m ) of Annapurna South adjoin  to the southwest . To the north the ridge leads to the Annapurna Fang ( 7647  m ). The northwest flank drops to the valley of the Kali Gandaki , while the southern Annapurna glacier extends at the foot of the east flank. Due to the low notch height , the Moditse is considered a secondary peak of the Annapurna South.

The Moditse was first climbed as part of a Japanese expedition. Haruo Higuchi and Sherpa Karma reached the summit on October 15, 1964. The ascent route led from Annapurna base camp over the saddle between Moditse and the central summit of Annapurna South to the summit.
