Mohamed Tindouft (born March 12, 1993 ) is a Moroccan athlete who specializes in the obstacle course .

Athletic career

Mohamed Tindouft gained his first international experience at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , where he finished fifth in the mixed relay after 24:02 minutes. He then won the obstacle course in 8: 26.26 min at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku and at the Francophonie Games in Abidjan in 8: 44.69 min. He also qualified for the World Championships in London , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round with 8: 40.99 min . The following year he did not finish at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona and then finished eighth at the African Championships in Asaba in 8: 44.12 minutes. In 2019 he won the bronze medal at the Arab Championships in Cairo in 8: 44.51 minutes behind the Bahraini John Koech and Salem Mohamed Attiaallah from Egypt. At the African Games in Rabat , he finished sixth after 8:33:30 minutes and was subsequently unable to finish his lead at the World Championships in Doha .

In 2018 Tindouft became the Moroccan champion in the 3000 meter obstacle course.
