Salem Mohamed Attiaallah (born October 1, 1993 ) is an Egyptian athlete who specializes in the obstacle course .

Athletic career

Salem Mohamed Attiaallah gained his first international experience in 2009 at the World Youth Championships in Bressanone , where he retired in the 2000 meter obstacle course with 6: 00.58 minutes in the lead. At the 2010 World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz , he finished 112th in the U20 class after 28:13 minutes. He then took part in the first ever Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , where he finished seventh in the B final in 5: 49.03 minutes. In 2011 he won the bronze medal over 3000 m obstacle behind the Algerians Abderahmane Hamadi and Abdulagadir Idriss from Sudan at the Arab Championships in al-Ain in 9: 38.36 minutes . At the 2018 Half Marathon World Championships in Valencia , he finished 119th after 1:07:51 h. The following year, he won the silver medal behind Bahraini John Koech at the Arab Championships in Cairo with a new national record of 8: 33.96 minutes . At the African Games in Rabat , he finished seventh with 8: 34.87 minutes and was eliminated from the preliminary round at the World Championships in Doha with 8: 35.18 minutes . Thereupon he finished ninth in 8: 45.44 min at the Military World Games in Wuhan .

In 2016 Atiiaallah became Egyptian champion in the 1500 meter run and in 2018 over 3000 m obstacle.
