Seyed Mohammad Nasser Taghavi (* 1970 ) is an Islamic theologian and philosopher .

Life

After acquiring the Abitur he studied at the University of Tehran and the Theological College in Qom Theology . In the Department of Political Science , he first obtained his diploma with a thesis on the usefulness in political-Islamic thinking and then obtained his doctorate on the subject of " Democratic Liberalism and Religious Popular Sovereignty ". While studying theology in Qom, he acquired a higher degree in law ( fiqh ) and fundamentals ( usul ), and he also studied philosophy and Islamic mysticism for more than ten years .

His publications include Domination and Expediency , Politics in Quotation Marks: Essays on Philosophy and Political Thought , Concerns About the “Global Village,” a collection of poems called Badeye Asrar, and Top Research Awarded Religion and Democratic Foundations and Persistence of Political Thought in Iran .

After completing his studies, he was a member of scientific commissions. He has lived in Germany since the beginning of 2004, where he is deputy director of the Islamic Center Hamburg .
