Mohammad Taghi Massoudieh
Mohammad Taghi Ma (s) soudieh (born April 9, 1927 in Mashhad , † February 2, 1999 ) was an Iranian music ethnologist and composer.
Massoudieh (also Mas'udieh) attended the Conservatory in Tehran and obtained a bachelor's degree in 1950 from the Law Faculty of Tehran University . He then went to France and studied with Line Taluel , Georges Dandelot and Noel Gallant at the Paris Conservatory and the Ecole Normale de Musique . In the 1970s he returned to Iran and did research in the field of rural music traditions. He also taught at the Music Faculty of Tehran University in the 1980s. As a composer he was best known in the western world for his Mouvement Symphonic .
