Mohammed Al-Nabhani (born September 1, 1985 in Cairo , Egypt ) is an Omani tennis player .

Career

Al-Nabhani has already played around 100 matches in singles and doubles on the ITF Junior Tour in under-class tournaments Grade 4 and Grade 5 . At the beginning of 2003 he reached his best position in the junior rankings with place 182.

He played very few tournaments with the professionals. At the highest tournament category, the ATP World Tour , he only appeared once when he received a wild card for the double competition from the tournament officials in Dubai . Here he and his partner Omar Awadhy lost to Marcel Granollers and Dick Norman in the match tie-breaker . Overall, the Oman was only listed in the tennis world rankings in 2006 in singles and in 2003 and 2010 in doubles .

Al-Nabhani played an even more important role in the Omani Davis Cup team , where he is the player with the most wins in singles, doubles and overall in his country with a record of 73:52. With a break between 2014 and 2015, he has played for his country every year since 2000, which is also a record. He was also partly responsible for the most successful time of the team, when they played in 2008 and 2009 in the so far highest continental group II for Oman.
