history

Mohlisch Castle stood on Hutberg northeast of the village and was probably on the trade route between Prague and Eger. The first time Mohlischen was known as "Bluwaschowe" was in 1196. Its membership in the Saar rulership has only been documented since the 16th century. In 1874, Sebeltitz, Tiefenbach and Mohlischen broke away from the Saar community founded in 1850 and founded their own community. Mohlischen remained with the parish and the Saar postal district.

Mohlischen had to fight hard with the effects of industrialization. Because of the poor soil, many residents migrated. Of 142 residents in 1847, 90 remained in 1930. All residents were expelled in 1945/46. In 1954, those who had moved in the meantime were also evacuated because the Hradiště military training area was established. The rest of the building stock was completely destroyed or removed.
