Moisés Kaufman
Moisés Kaufman (born November 21, 1963 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan playwright , film director and author .
Life
After finishing school in 1987, Kaufman moved from Caracas to New York City . Kaufman is the author of the play Unzucht - The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde , from 33 Variations, and is best known for the play The Laramie Project . He founded the Tectonic Theater Project in New York City. In 2004 he made his Broadway debut with the play I Am My Own Wife by Doug Wright , for which he received a Tony Award nomination.
