Between 2001 and 2007, Moki studied fine arts at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts , thanks to a scholarship from the Cusanuswerk in Bonn .

During her studies she was part of an international artist network (frombeetobee) as well as a member of a group of friends who run the independent gallery Hinterconti in Hamburg. Since 2006 she has also participated in international exhibitions, for example in Copenhagen in 2006 , in Hong Kong in 2008 , in the USA in 2009 and 2010 and in Japan in 2012 and 2014 . Further fields of activity were performances in self-made costumes and own masks as well as street art work .

After her diploma and her final project with the title To disappear completely , she published her monograph How to disappear with Gingko Press in 2010 . In 2011, after a few shorter comic publications in anthologies such as Orang and Spring , her first comic novel followed, which was published by Reprodukt Verlag under the title Wandering Ghost . Following this publication, Moki turned to her new series of pictures Shelter , in which she dealt with the subject of how people create shelters and the technique of which is reminiscent of inlaid work. Her more recent large-format acrylic paintings, which show makeshift places of refuge, pick up on the theme from the Shelter series .
