Molly Killingbeck
Molly Killingbeck (actually Mary Elizabeth Killingbeck ; born March 2, 1959 in Jamaica ) is a former Canadian athlete of Jamaican origin who specialized in the 400-meter run .
Life
She was Canadian 400-meter champion in 1982, 1983 and 1985. In 1983 she won the silver medal at the Universiade in Edmonton over the same distance. A short time later she finished fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki with the Canadian 4 x 400 meter relay and reached the semi-finals over the 400 m.
Killingbeck celebrated her greatest international success at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. There, the Canadian 4 x 400 meter relay won the silver medal in the cast Charmaine Crooks , Jillian Richardson , Molly Killingbeck and Marita Payne . In the 400-meter run, Killingbeck was eliminated in the semi-finals.
At the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 , she finished fourth in the relay.
