Mona the Vampire (original title: Mona le Vampire or Mona the Vampire ) is a Canadian cartoon show that was produced from 1999 to 2003. It is about a ten-year-old girl and her two friends of the same age, who always suspect the action of supernatural forces behind mysterious processes. Then they imagine in their imagination how they fight the monsters, ghosts, vampires and similar horror figures and thus come up with the solution to the riddle.
Characters
- Mona Parker is a young girl with a lot of imagination and a penchant for monster films and scary stories, and she is convinced that her city is haunted by monsters. She has brown hair and red bows on the sides of her forehead and is kind of the leader of the group with her two friends Charley and Lily. When she goes on a ghost hunt, she wears her vampire costume: a cloak, a red sweater and two pointy teeth. Her hair is then black, and she has five braided hair pieces that are decorated with red and yellow braids at the end.
- Charley Bones , the bookworm, is Mona's best friend. He has short blonde hair and is wearing glasses. He is very scared when a monster shows up. His costume, with which he calls himself Turbo-Man (originally: Zapman ), is green and is reminiscent of a grasshopper .
- Lily Duncan is her best friend. Before she met Mona, she was very shy and calm. The hair also covered her eyes. She has reddish brown hair and a purple headband. Her costume is reminiscent of a princess with long blond hair. When she wears it, she calls herself Princess Gigantia (originally: Princess Giant ).
- Tooth (in the original: Fang ) is Mona's cat and accompanies her on many adventures. Mona has them wear bat wings on a ghost hunt.
- Miss Madeleine Gotto is Mona's teacher. She often suffers from anxiety attacks and doesn't care much for Mona's fascination with ghosts and monsters. She falls in love easily and often prefers Angela at school.
