Armando Thomas "Mondo" Guerra , (born June 6, 1978 ) is an American fashion designer from Denver, Colorado . Guerra was runner-up in Season 8 of Project Runway and the winner of Season 1 of Project Runway: All Stars . He graduated from the Denver School of Arts.

Life

Mondo Guerra was runner-up in Season 8 of Project Runway in 2010. In the tenth episode of this season, he told the jury that the fabric he designed was a reference to his HIV positive status.

In 2012, Guerra won the first season of Project Runway: All Stars , a spin-off from Project Runway, and appeared as a mentor on Under the Gunn in 2014 . Since 2013, Guerra has been the spokesperson for Dining out for Life , an annual fundraiser by Subaru . In 2015 the designer created a design for World AIDS Day on behalf of the 2015 Subaru Legacy , which was presented at Art Basel in Miami .
