Monika Larmann

Monika Larmann (born in 1953 in Flamersheim as Monika Bädorf ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Monika Bädorf was a member of an athletics club and trained javelin throw and 800 meter run . She first played soccer with her four brothers in Flamersheim .

In 1971 she moved to the women's soccer department of Bonner SC, which had just been founded, as a defender .

With the Bonner SC, she won the final of the German women's football championship as a captain in 1975 . On June 15, 1975, in front of 2500 spectators in the Pennenfeld stadium, after a 2-1 deficit at halftime , their team won the game against FC Bayern Munich 4-2.

For winning the German championship she received 100 Deutsche Mark as a bonus from the DFB . A silver bracelet, which she received on the occasion of winning the title and which she had made available to the archive of the Euskirchen District Sports Association for an exhibition, was stolen from the exhibition in 2011. The plaque donated by the DFB for fourth place at the 1974 championship was also stolen.

After winning the championship, she ended her career in football. She worked for the Kölnische Rundschau for a long time .
