Monika Thaler
Monika Thaler (born November 13, 1941 ) is a German publisher . Together with her husband Gert Frederking, she founded the Frederking & Thaler publishing house , which specializes in high-quality illustrated books. In 1998 they sold it to the Bertelsmann publishing group and in 2002 they bought it back. In 2002 she was named publisher of the year by the trade journal Buchmarkt .
