The Monte Cazzola is located in the Valle di Devero in the heart of the Lepontine Alps .
Paths to the summit
There are several ascent options from Alpe Devero. The marked hiking trail H11 leads over the Buscagna plateau from the east to the summit. Alternatively, the summit can be hiked directly from Alpe Devero along the ski slope. In winter conditions, a chair lift and two drag lifts lead to a few hundred meters below the summit. From the summit there is a view of the Helsenhorn group in neighboring Switzerland.
