The Monte San Primo is a 1686  m slm high mountain in the Italian province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The Monte San Primo belongs to the Alta Brianza subgroup belonging to the tambo group . According to SOIUSA classification , it is part of the sub-section Comer Voralpen belonging to the Lugano Pre- Alps . It forms the highest peak on the Dorsale del Triangolo Lariano between the southern arms of Lake Como . The Torrente Perlo rises on the northern flank of Monte San Primo, which flows into Lake Como .

Routes

Several hiking trails lead to the summit. From Piano Rancio ( 960  m ), a district of Bellagio , it can be reached in 1 ½ hours. The mountain is also a popular destination for mountain bikers and winter sports enthusiasts.
